Eye on Student Protagonism: Entrepreneurship Marketplace at Ted Polk Middle School

Eighth-grade students enrolled in the Entrepreneurship class at Ted Polk Middle School worked with a team to start a business! Using the Uncharted Learning mxINCedu curriculum, students worked through the entire startup process from identifying a problem to obtaining customer feedback, and creating marketing materials, to pitching their idea to a panel of judges. Each team was responsible for developing and selling their solution in a popup marketplace for real money! Throughout the process, students documented their successes and challenges by developing a skills-based portfolio.
