A Test of Value

EVIDENCE OF DEEPER LEARNING

Let’s redefine assessments, ensuring they're not just markers of a momentary victory, but stepping stones towards lasting understandings that contribute to lifelong learning in our students.

  • What types of innovative testing strategies have you seen that help inspire you to test for value? In what ways were they effective/meaningful (or not)?

What types of evidence, or artifacts of learning, suggest a deeper understanding of content, and skill development, has taken place?

How might collaborative assessment contribute to individual growth?

How might your assessments better mirror real-world tasks and challenges?
