Problem Solving
CARING AND CONNECTED COMMUNITIES
About This Path
When we approach students as collaborators in solving the problems that arise in our community, they develop the emotional regulation, language, empathy, and problem solving skills to work through challenges and conflicts. This requires intentionality in our language, and use of a structure that allows student voices to be at the center.
NOTE: The Problem Solving tools are powerful and must be implemented with care. We highly recommend practicing them with the guidance of a coach. Reach out to us for free coaching on this practice.
