For Members, By Members: Chronically Misbehaving? Or Chronically Bored?

Are chronically misbehaving students simply chronically bored? This session dares to challenge the traditional narrative about classroom behavior. Instead of asking why students won't comply, we'll explore a deeper, perhaps uncomfortable question: Is boredom at the root of so-called "misbehavior"? Join us to reframe how we think about engagement, attention, and discipline. This session will push educators to reconsider what misbehavior really signals and how we can better respond to the unmet needs of students. Prepare to disrupt your own thinking—and maybe the status quo.
